Types Of Interactivity.


Webpage Interactivity:
http://www.nike.com - Is a good example of a website that uses interactivity well, as when you enter the website allows you to interact with it and choose your language and destination to direct you to the right 'nike' website. Once you are on the website it allows you to find products through the side menu and the drop down options with the side menu, which will either take you to another Nike URL to find what you are looking for or if the product you're looking for is on the main Nike website it will just take you to another page, depending on what you have chosen as your product the website will allow you to interact with it to change clothing and shoe sizes and colours depending on what is available using a drop down menu. Also the interactivity within this website makes it more user friendly for customers to find exactly what they want e.g. users zoom in on pictures of the product they want to get a closer look at what they're buying. Some products on the website are editable where you can interact with the website to create your own designs of a product.

This game allows you to play pool but through the computer screen against other people across the world.

BBC Bitesize allows you to have fun by playing a game and learning at the same time.

Interactive Kiosks:

Tourist information kiosk is where you interact with it to find information about the local area e.g. restaurants, points of interest etc.

Learning Styles:

Visual learning is where the user is learning by watching the information.

Auditory learning is where the user listens to the information and learns.

Kinesthetic learning is where the user learns by doing something physically.


Fish Related Games:


Fresh Water Bounce - I like the character aspect of this game, as they look kind of funny and are appealing to play with. Also the games idea is really quite addictive as you always want to try and get further than you did last time. The only thing I dislike about the game is the fact that the characters don't really have much relevance to fish even though it is a fish game.


Soap And Swim - This has the same qualities as the 'Fresh Water Bounce' game but instead of bouncing you're swimming and collecting stars throughout and the game also has the same addictiveness as the other one as you keep wanting to better yourself each time.
